Get Extraordinary Food with Adventures from Ubud Villas

We are blessed to be located near the unique, cosmopolitan city of Ubud, Bali, Indonesia. This vibrant city is remarkable for distinct cultural offerings, remarkable activities, exceptional boutique shopping and wonderful food. Villa Amrita is one of the Ubud villas that blends the beauty of the fresh, natural countryside with the convenience of a location only 10 minutes from Ubud by car. There is scarcely a location on Earth that has as many varied and exciting things to do, interesting things to see and delicious places to eat as Ubud.
While staying in an Ubud villa you can have the benefit of a personal chef. If you like, the villa staff can go to the supermarket and shop for you. Later, the cook can prepare whatever you like in the comfort of your very own “home”. Grill a steak, prepare Balinese smoked duck or make legendary Indonesian fried rice. Whatever you fancy, you can have it conveniently and for a reasonable price while staying in an Ubud villa.

We can say without a doubt, that someone could spend a month in Ubud and not even come close to eating at all the exceptional restaurants, warungs and other vendors this place has to offer. There is food from virtually every country on Earth in Ubud. The concentration of expatriates which call Ubud their home is very high. Therefore, it is easy to find fine food created by the original “experts”. You can indulge in light or rich food, cheap or expensive, local or foreign and specialty or standard food, but one thing is for sure it will be quality, tasty and most often made from fresh, local materials.

Recently, I visited a lovely, local Indonesian food restaurant which was rather extraordinary. Having passed it on numerous occasions previously, I dismissed it as possibly ordinary and unattractive. This particular night I made a promise to myself to venture out of my regular “circuit” of sumptuous delicacies to test a restaurant that I had not tried before. The name of the place is Batan Waru. Located on Jalan Dewi Sita, not far from the football field in central Ubud, this little cafĂ© was unassuming for me until I noticed it had a sister location in Kuta!

The dinner was surprising. The menu was extensive and the quality and variety remarkable. There were a number of choices from all over Indonesia and they were clearly made with care and effort. I had some excellent pastries, steamed fish, special vegetables, beef satay and more. The bubur injin for dessert was great as well. The cocktails from the bar were also high quality and mixed well.

When staying at an Ubud villa you can make trying different wonderful culinary options a part of your experience. There is no reason to adjust your schedule. Guests can request transport to the restaurant on demand. Once finished the villa driver will be right there to receive you. The best part of your Ubud villa is the special attention and diligent, friendly service. There is service staff at any hotel, but in an Ubud villa the staff is there for you only! We hope you enjoy! Make A Trip to See the Aga People in Tenganan

While staying at your Ubud villa you can take some time to visit the village of Tenganan. You will find this unique traditional village 3 km west from Candidasa on the slopes of the surrounding mountains, ricefields and forest. A visit offers a unique glimpse into the lives of the first Balinese people (aboriginal people). The people here are referred to as the Bali Aga, the original Balinese people. The villagers have continued their way of life without being affected by the so-called “outer world”.   They now have electricity but continue to uphold their traditions.

When you visit it is important to be respectful and quietly observe their way of life. Upon arrival you will pass a symbolic ticket counter and you are not obliged to pay but any payment you might wish to make will be considered a donation. As you walk through the village you will find old meeting houses, traditional residences and the locals engaged in their crafts and going about their day.

An important part of Bali Aga culture is the complex technique used to make Bali’s traditional gringsing (a traditional textile created by the double ikat method). Bali’s Tenganan village is the only village that today still produces this weaving process. The handmade fabric is expensive because of its process. The palette of gringsing is typically red, neutral, or black andis regarded as a sacred cloth.

Also you will find beautiful woven treasures such as baskets and purses made from Ata grass reed.  The grass is split and woven, then boiled to tighten the weave, dried, then smoked over coconut wood/husks to give it the glossy golden finish.  A Ladies purse seems to be the item of choice.

Balinese calligraphy is practiced here and the perfect place to purchase calendars with the script inscribed onto strips of Lontar (a special palm species).

Parts of Bali may be radically transformed by tourism and change, but Tenganan village is kind of remaining an island unto itself.  This walled village is not a destination for someone looking for a luxurious visit, but for the adventure traveler looking for mind-expanding experience.

While staying in Ubud villas like Villa Amrita you can arrange a tour to this isolated mountain village in East Bali. The ride takes about one hour and ten minutes. There are even treks and hiking that starts from the village. When done sightseeing you may take a car about 20 minutes to the sleepy, seaside resort of Candidasa. Stop in at one of the many nice restaurants for a delightful lunch of fresh fish and check out the beautiful view across the Lombok strait to Nusa Lembongan.

There is no Ubud accommodation that can beat Villa Amrita in terms of location, price, service, convenience, quality and beauty. Visit to-: www.villaamrita.com for getting more info about this exciting service……

Exceeding Expectations – Ubud Villas and Villa Amrita

For your Bali vacation, there is hardly a better choice than an Ubud villa. Instead of subjecting yourself to the constraints of a resort or hotel that has a defined structure and practice, think about renting your own private house in the form of an Ubud villa.

 http://www.villaamrita.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2012/12/Yoga-Ubud-300x270.jpghttp://www.villaamrita.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2012/12/Entertainment-Room-Villa-Anrita-300x200.jpg

Ubud villas are self-contained vacation resorts. Get a massage, have a private dinner, invite a yoga teacher for a personal session, watch your own movies, play games, swim in your pool and do what you want, how and when you like all day long every day.

You can sight see as long and hard as you like or you can just plunk yourself down on a sun lounger next to the pool and garden and read a book. You will never be forced to move, find something in sufficient, unavailable or out of stock. There will be no limitations or restrictions. If you think it you can most likely do it or have it arranged.

A top vacation destination in Asia, Bali, Indonesia is extraordinary. Not surprisingly, Ubud is the number one vacation destination within Bali. There are so many Ubud accommodations you cannot really go wrong. However, with the explosion in the availability and variety of Ubud villas, choosing a complete, personal resort and luxury home featuring private garden, pool and all the facilities is a must. For those that choose an Ubud villa a one-of-a-kind experience waits.

The best dining, the most comfortable weather and the largest variety of things to do are in and around Ubud. The convenient access to the rest of the island is also a bonus. There are even nightlife options available in Ubud. On any given night of the week there is always live music to see. On a Friday or Saturday night, you can have a choice from a dozen venues or more with unique live musical, dance and performance options.

In Asia, there is practically no better choice for a more convenient, comfortable, interesting or exciting vacation than Bali. Furthermore, Ubud is a key location on the island. The variety, price and quality of Ubud villas and the many fun things to do, great food to eat, lovely people to meet and beautiful natural environment makes this place a must-see location.

We feel that Villa Amrita offers the best there is on offer in Ubud. Villa Amrita is head and shoulders above the Ubud villas in the same class. Newly built with complete facilities, attractive exterior and interior design and a perfect location close, but not too close, to Ubud make Villa Amrita a wonderful option.

Great for families or Honeymooners, Villa Amrita can make for an unforgettable experience. There is no best time to visit as Ubud is well known for excellent weather all year around. While there is rain in December and January, it seldom lasts for long and is the source of the extraordinarily lush vegetation and incredible scenery. Make sure to plan a minimum of two days stay to only begin to see Ubud. The ideal program is to plan an entire week at Villa Amrita to really experience the best of Bali.

Enjoy the beauty of staying in Ubud

The beauty of staying in Ubud is the rich culture and lush, natural environment. You could go to many places and see a bit of culture, but you may lack a lush, natural environment. On that same token, if you wanted a lush, natural environment you may be miles away from anything that could be considered cultural.

In addition to this, Ubud has a remarkable variety of cool things to see and fun things to do. There is a lot of different shopping, mostly in boutiques, or for art, crafts, and other creations. Ubud has some of the best dance performances and cultural shows. There are many museums, temples and a palace. You can also take great cooking, carving, offering making, jewelry making and other types of interesting classes.

Ubud is special because you can do so much, see so much and eat so much great food all while in a fantastically beautiful atmosphere and in a super high quality, completely equipped luxury home.

In a short drive you could see elephants, tigers, orangutan or monkeys.Alternatively, you could book a once-in-a-lifetime spa experience or havea special meal like never before. In your spare time it is easy to visit with and learn about a fascinating culture that exists nowhere else on the planet.

Villas in Ubud are exceptional because they are positioned in unbelievable locations, such as on the side of a valley, at the end of a cliff or overlooking a river. These places are what make Ubud special.

Villa Amrita is in a place like this. The garden is big and open with a wonderful variety of great flowers, fruits and trees. The infinity pool drops off into a beautiful forest, multi-level rice terraces and a lotus pond. At night marvel at the starry sky, big, bright moon or the many fire flies flitting among the trees.

At Ubud villas, you can share experiences with people who are charming and very different from yourself.

Each morning you are greeted by the smiley faces of the people who have made it their job to create the ultimate vacation environment. Each night your bed is turned down by someone who wishes you a peaceful nights’ sleep. Finding nice, reasonably priced villas in Ubud is not so hard. There are many decent accommodations scattered about the surrounding area, all offering a bed, private garden, maybe a breakfast and perhaps a small swimming pool. Having spent a lot of time in Bali and around Ubud in particular, we know what makes a special vacation experience. If all things are considered equal, then the differences that makes Ubudvillasspecial is the location, ability to truly relax, the level of service and the access to convenience.
