Ubud Villas: Great for a Tourist

This past week we hosted 3 lady friends at Villa Amrita for five days. They had “escaped” a luxury villa in Seminyak just of off Kunti area near the Bali Deli. Normally, this is a wonderful experience for just about anyone, but these Bali-philes and frequent repeater guests to the Island of the Gods were starting to change their tune. It was not enough to have a pretty vacation rental house to call your own anymore. The environment was starting to cause them to seek the refuge of another sanctuary.

Seminyak, fun and vibrant, was starting to be a bit crowded and difficult to maneuver. The relaxing vacation they had in mind was no longer completely possible with various hassles, transportation snafus and other tourism-charged debacles. What they wanted was to utterly withdraw, but do so in comfort, style, fabulous convenience and be in the most divine, natural environment one could imagine.

Villa Amrita was the right call. One of the only top quality Ubud villas that is perfectly located slightly removed from the hustle and bustle of the tourist track, but close enough for easy access at the appointed time. Ubud Hanging Gardens is phenomenal, but it is farther away, more expensive, and the amenities, service and level of comfort is arguably the same (and marginally better at very most)! Four Seasons is incredible, but it costs an arm and a leg for that famous brand. Other hotels have droves of staff with their changing shifts, watching droves of guests and their changing itineraries.

None of this adds up to bliss, or true relaxation. Ubud accommodation is full of choices and there is something for everyone. However, we contend that the best way to enjoy Bali is to get a villa in Ubud like Villa Amrita and make it your home for a five days or a week. Have the staff whip up a cocktail, call in dinner, bbq a steak or play your favorite music on the garden speakers while you lay on the sun loungers with a good book (on your Kindle)! Have a massage on our professional table, make an appointment with Made Taro for a spectacular bike ride to Amrita from the Kintamani crater edge.

Whatever you want or choose can be yours. There is no obstacle, no hassle and no frivolous extra charges. Get treated by our staff and get shown the real Bali. Talk, chat, interact genuinely and get to know lovely local people. At night, control the climate in your comfortable suite room and watch the fire flies dance at the window and out among the trees. In the morning have your coffee and a fresh breakfast on your balcony.

The sky is the limit. Ubud villas like Villa Amrita are honestly hard to come by. Ubud accommodation is plentiful, but there is a magic at Villa Amrita. Villas in Ubud are not the same now that Villa Amrita is open to host you! www.villaamrita.com
